Deathcrown – Chained Undead King (Horror Figurine)

 Description

Deathcrown is a chained, fallen king that refuses to die — crawling forward through rubble with his crown still on and his chains still clinging to him like a curse.

This model is built to read well in single-colour FDM prints, with deep shadows, chunky forms, and strong silhouette detail so it looks “finished” straight off the bed in matte PLA.

What you get

• 1× Deathcrown full model (crawling pose with chains + ground contact)

Printing notes (important)

• The pose has lots of “air gaps” (chains, crown spikes, fingers). Supports are recommended for a clean print.
• If you want the easiest success: print slightly larger (150–180mm wide) so the chains and spikes have more strength.

Print instructions (Bambu A1 Combo – tested-style settings)

Material: PLA / Matte PLA (best detail)
Nozzle: 0.4mm (0.6mm works too if you want faster + slightly softer detail)

Quality preset (best detail)

• Layer height: 0.16mm
• Walls: 3
• Top/Bottom: 4
• Infill: 12–15% Gyroid
• Supports: YES (Tree/Organic)
  • Overhang threshold: ~50°
  • Support interface ON (for clean removal)
• Brim: 5–8mm (helps with the outstretched hands/claws)
• Speed: Standard (don’t go crazy-fast on this one)

Faster preset (still looks great)

• Layer height: 0.20mm
• Infill: 10–12% Gyroid
• Supports: YES (Tree/Organic)
• Brim: 5mm

Orientation

• Print exactly as supplied (crawling on the ground).
  This keeps the “weight” and detail where it matters and avoids weak joins.

Support tips (where you’ll need them)

• Under crown spikes
• Under jaw/teeth area (depending on angle)
• Under hanging chains
• Under fingers/claws and any “floating” points

(Varies by scale/settings)

• 150mm wide: ~10–14 hours, ~150–220g PLA
• 180mm wide: ~14–20 hours, ~220–320g PLA

Recommended filament (for “straight off the bed” look)

• Matte Grey / Matte Bone / Matte Black looks insane on this style.
• If you want maximum shadow contrast: Matte Dark Grey.
