Toyota Tacoma Gen 3 Gas Cap Holder

Fixes Toyota's oversight when they forgot (or mis-designed) to allow a place to put the gas cap when fueling the truck. Rather than letting the gas cap dangle loose on the teather, this fix allows you to screw the cap temporarily on to the fuel door while you are putting fuel in the truck.

Quick print in PLA but will last longer with PETG. Using the existing OEM screw, it's a 2 minute install.

Gen3 is 2016 to 2023.

It works fanatically. I wanted to do mine in black with red logo. I'm brand new to bambu studio, so I'm just learning how to color in prints. I'm not very good at it yet, but I think it turned out ok. if I can figure out how to modify it, I would like to increase the font size for the word Tacoma and then reprint it.

Are you thinking something like this? I could send you this 3 part stl file for you to tinker with, if you like. That way you could move the graphics around, re-size and/or delete either graphic.

First, let me correct a typo in my original comment. It says it printed fanatically, but it was supposed to have said it printed fantastically. I absolutely love this thing. What I would like to do, is just increase the size of only the word Tacoma and leave it underneath the logo. I'd like Tacoma to be as large as it can be and still fit in that same space. I still haven't had the time to sit down and try to figure out how to do that though.

Logos can be re-sized easily and you may want to choose between the 2 and only have one "TACOMA" in order to maintain clear readability. In order to confuse you some more, I am posting ideas to give you some idea that would allow "mix & match" of different logo ideas. And if really want to learn & play around, I can put up raw STL files

this profile worked perfect for me. I used bambu labs orange basic petg and then used. paint marker on top.

This is such a great print! The first PETG print I've done and it worked perfectly! I actually printed it twice, once with fuzzy skin and once without just to see what I'd like better. The one I've installed is the fuzzy skin version, for now but I have pics of both below
