H2 Spool Holder Replacement (Filament Holder Sideboard)
Print Profile(1)

Description
I searched unsuccessfully for an external spool holder for my H2D that:
- Allows printing directly from a filament dry box, so I don't always have to put away the filament
- Is attached to the printer (The printer can be moved without removing feeds. No holes in tiles/walls, no table space occupied)
- Has the shortest possible connection, which is also suitable for printing TP material
- Requires no modifications to the printer itself
After my solution has proven itself for a few weeks, I am presenting it here.
- The attachment to the H2D is done in the two threaded holes of the mounting for the supplied spool holder, as well as a third threaded hole underneath.
- The print consists of three parts: retaining block, sideboard, rubber lip
- The retaining block and the board are firmly connected by grooves. They can also be glued if necessary.
- Additionally, there is a rubber lip to attach to the board. This prevents the filament box from falling down when connecting the hose. (Printed from TPU by me)
The solution can certainly still be optimized, but so far it has proven to be very stable. It should be noted that the remaining gap between the retaining block and the printer housing should be filled with a rubber buffer due to the horizontal vibrations of the printer.
As material, I used PETG-CF for the retaining block (PETG should also suffice). Critical areas were reinforced in the slicer. The board was printed in standard PETG; here, material/weight could certainly still be saved without losing the required stability. The edge was printed from a firmer TPU and, thanks to the small detent, has held without glue so far.
