Both versions are designed for magnetic mounting.
🧲 Magnetic Mounting System
- Designed with 6 magnet pockets
- Compatible with 8x4mm neodymium magnets
- Frame can hold securely with:
- Minimum: 2 magnets (top & bottom opposite corners)
- Recommended: 4 magnets for better holding strength
- Maximum: 6 magnets for strongest hold
Magnet Pocket Design
The frame is designed for 8 × 4 mm round magnets.
However, most magnets sold online are slightly undersized (typically around 7.8 × 3.8 mm).
To ensure a proper fit, the magnet pockets are sized for ≈ 3.8 mm thickness.
- This means:
- 8×4 mm magnets fit snugly
- Slightly smaller magnets also fit securely
⚠️ For best strength, avoid using magnets that are too small.

- Allows use of a pin / SIM card ejector tool
