Description

Bring medical-grade accuracy to your desktop. This liver model is derived from a real, anonymized patient CT scan segmentation, ensuring that every anatomical detail is preserved including the gallbladder, the hepatic veins and the aorta artery regions.

As a Biomedical Engineer, I’ve refined this model to be used for educational purposes, surgical planning practice, or as a high-quality anatomical display.

Printing & Post-Processing Recommendations:

  • Supports: Mandatory. I highly recommend using Tree Supports for this geometry. Please remove them carefully to avoid damaging the anatomical surface.
  • Settings: Use a fine layer height (0.12mm or 0.16mm) to minimize visible layers from the segmentation process.
  • Finishing: To achieve the realistic look seen in the photos, the model underwent a professional post-processing workflow: sanding, priming, and manual painting. With the right care, it becomes a museum-quality anatomical piece (recommended to print in white PLA).
