Ford Focus Wagon Divider Protective Grille Stopper
Print Profile(1)

Description
In our Ford Focus Wagon, we installed the original Ford grille as a divider so that our dog has its own area.

Unfortunately, the grille's included stoppers do not hold it in position. The grille can easily slide.
The stoppers are made of hard plastic. The localized pressure on a small area creates unsightly marks on the ceiling. These marks are amplified if the grille is installed not in the center, but on the side. The ceiling is curved in the side areas.
The lower part of the designed stopper is printed with TPU 90A, the upper part with PETG. Presumably, the entire part could also be printed with TPU 90A.
The TPU 90A part adapts to the curvature of the ceiling and compresses. This creates good adhesion. Due to the larger contact area, the surface load is lower.
I actually recommend TPU 90A or softer. My tests with TPU 95A showed that this material is too hard. It barely compresses.
The stopper is available in three different heights: 15 mm, 20 mm, and 25 mm.
An appropriate height can be chosen depending on the base.
The 25 mm variant is shown in the photos.
We have this trunk liner in the trunk
