Description

🧸 Magnetic Levitation Teddy - Nature Edition 🌿

Elevate your 3D printing with a touch of magic! This special "Nature Edition" evolves my original design into a beautiful decorative piece. Watch as the teddy bear holds a floating heart under the branches of a stylized tree, using the fascinating power of magnetism and physics.

This model is designed for a support-free print and glue-free assembly.

✨ What's New in Nature Edition?

  • Organic Design: Replaced the technical arm with a sleek, minimalist tree.
  • Scenery Base: Added a "grassy" textured base for a more complete look.
  • Optimized Heart: The heart model has been completely redesigned for lower weight. This ensures much better levitation and stability even with standard magnets.
  • No AMS? No Problem!: This model is multi-color friendly even without AMS. You can print it in a single color and easily paint the eyes and nose later with a marker or acrylic paint.

🛠️ What you will need:

  • Magnets: 4pcs of Neodymium magnets (10mm x 2mm).
    • 1 pc for the heart (inserted during printing).
    • 3 pcs for the top case in the tree branch (to ensure a strong pull).
  • String: A thin string, thread, or fishing line.
  • Glue: Recommended for the heart magnet (see instructions).

📖 Assembly Instructions:

  1. Heart Magnet (Pause): The provided .3mf file has an automatic pause set. When the printer stops, insert 1 magnet into the heart.
    • 💡 Important Tip: If the magnet fits very loosely in the heart cavity, apply a small drop of glue to it before inserting. This prevents the magnet from jumping out and sticking to the metal nozzle when printing resumes.
  2. Base Assembly: Slide the tree into the "grassy" base. Place the teddy bear on the base and secure him by inserting the lock/pin into the slot.
  3. Threading & Setup: Thread the string through the heart and then through the teddy's paw. Adjust the string length so the magnetic force pulls the heart upward (keep a 5-10mm gap below the branch). Tie a knot under the paw to secure it.
  4. Polarity Check: If the heart repels from the tree, simply pull out the magnet case, flip it 180°, and slide it back in.

  • Automatic Pause: Pre-configured in the 3MF for magnet insertion.
  • Supports: None required.
  • Improved Geometry: Lighter heart for 100% reliable levitation.
