Description

⚡ 18V Power Adapter for Makita LXT (DIY Projects)

Turn your 18V batteries into a portable power station! This adapter is designed to be tough, reliable, and versatile for all your custom builds.

🛠️ Versatile Use Cases

This mount is perfect for a wide range of DIY Projects, including:

  • Custom Workshop Tools: Power your 12V-24V devices (with a buck converter).
  • Robotics & RC: High-capacity power for your mobile projects.
  • LED Lighting: Portable shop lights or camping setups.
  • Power Wheels: Give your kids' electric cars a performance boost.

📐 Technical Requirements

To complete this build, you will need two metal contact plates. I recommend using Stainless Steel for maximum durability and to prevent corrosion over time:

  • Length: 40 mm
  • Width: 18 mm
  • Thickness: 1 mm

🔌 Soldering & Wiring

If you are wondering how to solder the wires correctly, please refer to the main product photo. It clearly shows the internal wiring and the placement of the terminals.

Note: Since stainless steel can be tricky to solder, I recommend lightly sanding the contact area and using a good flux for a solid bond.

⚠️ Disclaimer

This is a custom-designed DIY part. It is compatible with Makita 18V LXT batteries but is NOT an official product of the brand. Use it at your own risk and always double-check the polarity with a multimeter before connecting it to your devices.
