Description

Crescent shaped Spherical Flexure Joint: no matter where you move the end of the arm, the ball magically stays in position! Fun engineer/mathmatical fidget toy for your desk. Printed in parts: push fit together.

 

This is based on a research paper A new type of spherical flexure joint based on tetrahedron elements - ScienceDirect. You may have seen my previous model Spherical Flexure Joint which is a remix of a Thingiverse model by one of the authors. This a whole new design using those same principles but designed with both asthetics and awesomeness!
