Description

Summary

This is a remix of a cup/bottle holder I made to go on a Gorilla cart that was again a remix of another cup holder I designed. The holder easily holds a 36oz Igloo water bottle or a Yeti insulated Colster. It also features a reducer/insert to better fit beverage cans and glass bottles. This is a bottom mount holder that uses a 1/4" or M6 bolt, or a magnet with like size stud, as a mounting device. Designed originally for my son's golf cart, it also features a pocket for scorecard or ready cash and a pencil holder. It is also suitable for mounting on a desk (certainly someone had knocked their beverage of choice over while gaming), Adirondack chair, toolbox, street board, pretty much any surface you can think of. You just need to decide on your mounting media. I have one with a magnet on the bottom for when I work on my truck. There is a spacer bushing shown that I made to adapt this to a Sun Mountain golf cart mount where the umbrella holder goes. It is as yet untested.

I'm just a geezer doing 3D printing and design to keep my brain active until I start CTD or become DRT. A little positive attention keeps me going.  For you non old school emergency personnel, or those who only know modern approved abbreviations:
CTD is Circling the Drain and DRT is Dead Right There
Cheers!

My first choice on this print would be TPU. I printed the insert at 75% gyroid infill hoping to achieve a bit more flex with plenty of strength.
