Tiny Water Bear  – Articulated Keychain

I think this is the tiniest articulated animal I have ever designed. It was a complete challenge, but the final result was absolutely worth it. I tried to give it as much detail as possible and make the movement feel almost like a real one. That was definitely the hardest part, but after many attempts, it finally worked.

I am really happy with the result and with all the color combinations that are possible. Without a doubt, the best part is that one of the most extraordinary and smallest animals in the world is now captured in a flexible articulated model.

I truly hope you enjoy it.

The miniature version is printed with a 0.2 mm nozzle, so it requires extra care, as it is a somewhat complex print. Please make sure your printer is well calibrated and take your time during the process. I really hope everything turns out great for you.

Before printing:

Make sure your print bed is completely clean to ensure proper adhesion.
If it’s dirty or the print detaches, you can fix it by washing the build plate with dish soap.
This tip is especially helpful for users with a PEI surface and a cold bed.
Taking this step can be key to achieving a 100% successful print!
