Overview

The Magnetic Teardown Tray is an essential companion for any maker, engineer, or hobbyist who takes things apart. Measuring 150mm x 100mm x 7mm, this compact tray features six labeled sections (A, B1, B2, C1, C2, C3) to keep your hardware organized during disassembly and reassembly.

Features

• Sloped Entry: Section C3 features a smooth ramp down to desk level, allowing you to easily slide tiny screws or components directly from your workspace into the tray.
• Ergonomic Fillets: Every section is designed with internal fillets, making it effortless to scoop out even the smallest washers or bits.
• Magnetic Control: Integrated underside pockets allow you to add magnets directly beneath the labeled areas, keeping your steel hardware securely in place.
• Dual Version Support: Includes a dedicated file for AMS/Multicolor printing and a Manual Pause version for those without an AMS who want that sharp, two-tone look.

Bill of Materials

• Magnets (Optional): 6x 6mm x 2mm circular magnets.
• Adhesive: A small drop of superglue (CA glue) is recommended to secure the magnets, as tolerances are designed for a comfortable fit across various printer setups.

Print Settings

• Layer Height: 0.16mm (0.2mm Initial Layer).
• Adaptive Layer Height: Highly recommended (and enabled in the profile) to ensure the internal fillets and slopes are buttery smooth.
• Wall Generator: Standard.
• Color Change: The filament swap occurs at Layer 56 to highlight the labels and top rim.

Assembly Simply flip the tray over and glue the 6x2mm magnets into the designated circular recesses. Once the glue is dry, you're ready to start your next teardown!
