Yutyrannus huali was an Early Cretaceous tyrannosauroid discovered in China and is especially famous for fossil evidence suggesting it had proto-feathers. Larger than many early tyrannosauroids but more primitive than later giants like T. rex, it represents a fascinating step in tyrannosaur evolution.
