Description
Tired of your CCW setup sagging when you're wearing gym shorts or sweatpants? This 3D-printed belt-line reinforcement is inspired by the "Leisure Carry" system. It provides the necessary rigidity for your holster clips to bite onto without requiring a traditional leather or tactical belt.
Important Safety Note
Warning: This is a functional firearm accessory. Please ensure you print this in a high-strength material. Do not use standard PLA, as it can be brittle and may fail under the tension of a holster clip or during a draw. Use this at your own risk and test thoroughly with an unloaded setup.
Print Settings & Recommendations
To ensure this part can handle the "spring" tension of a holster clip, use the following:
- Material: TPU for AMS - This was specifically designed around TPU for AMS due to high adhesion and a balance between rigidity and flexibility.
- Wall Loops: 2 loops for balance between rigidity and flexibility, 3 loops around the mounting hole area
- Infill: 7% Gyroid, modifiers around mounting hole area with infill @ 15%.
- Layer Height: 0.3 mm for 0.6 mm nozzle, 0.2 for 0.4 mm nozzle.
- Orientation: Print this vertical to ensure the least amount of support material and cleanup.
Hardware & Assembly
It is recommended to clean the support material with a hobby knife, finishing with a bit of light sanding to smooth any surfaces.
- Ulticlip Compatibility: Designed to work best with Ulticlips or standard FOMI clips (untested).
- Hardware: Ulticlips Slim 2.2 (recommended) can be purchased from this link, hardware included; Aliexpress Affiliate Link
- Ulticlips include screws, barrel nut, and rubber washers, which can be installed with both between the clip and belt to reduce movement after installation; or, one in front and one in between to achieve inward cant to reduce printing during concealment.

Once clips have been installed, rounding and forming the belt to the area of your waist where it is to be worn can be done by heating the print bed and allowing the belt to soften enough to mold. The same can also be achieved using a heat gun with careful patience.
How to Use
- Slide the printed bracket over the waistband of your shorts or joggers.
- Clip your holster directly onto the reinforced TPU section.
- Adjust the position to your preferred carry angle.
- The bracket distributes the weight of the setup across a wider section of your waistband, preventing "flopping."
Version History
- v1.0: Initial Release. Optimized for TPU for AMS.
