Print Profile(1)

Description
Kol-Ut-Shan
The Kol-Ut-Shan calligraphy, and Vulcan IDIC symbol, has the meaning of “Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations” (IDIC), the basis of Vulcan Philosophy. This is a celebration of the Vast and immeasurable differences in life, the universe, thought, character.
This symbol was worn by Spock in the third season of Star Trek - The Original Series (TOS) episode “Is There in Truth No Beauty?”
Model
This model contains both the Vulcan Calligraphy, Kol-Ut-Shan, as well as the IDIC emblem etched into the stone stand.
I designed this model to be printed transparent/translucent for the crystal piece, and sharing the same filament for both the rock Base and the Kol-Ut-Shan script - showing the unity of the earth and word and script, and the beauty of time creating crystals, merged but still their own things.
Base
This rock base has the IDIC symbol etched into it, and cut into it is the form of the Kol-Ut-Shan crystal, when seated giving it the look as if it had grown there.
Printing
I designed this with minimal supports, and I have customized many settings to give everything just the right look!
Work in Progress
I am working on an LED based base to light the Crystal. So far I havent liked what I have built for that, but working on some new ideas. Some pics of it lit while I am holding it - I think it will look great lit from a nice base!
