Description

This model represents the German Navy Fregatte Klasse F125 in a modified configuration.

Boost Me (for free)

Hey all,
I would really appreciate if you boost my model(s).
It really motivates me to make more models.
I´ve got some vessels still in line to come :)

The F125 class was designed as a stabilization frigate with extended endurance and reduced crew requirements. Compared to earlier German frigates, the focus lies on long-duration deployments and modular mission capabilities.

This version keeps the overall appearance and proportions of the original design but features a subtle enhancement:

  • 32 additional VLS cells integrated into the forward deck
  • A redesigned stealth-style gun mount inspired by modern European warship designs

The general structure and silhouette remain close to the original F125. In fact, only 2 walls are having slightly altered angles, making this model suitable both for enthusiasts of the class and for those who prefer a slightly more armed interpretation.

The model is intended as a scale model and display piece.

The ship just makes more sense like this.

Printing recommendations

Use 0.12–0.16 mm layer height on a 0.4 mm nozzle or smaller.

Support is required for most parts except the label and the base plate.

Socket and base plate may be printed at a higher layer height, for example 0.24 mm.

Hull parts are too large for A1 Mini.

Assembly

Assembly needs to be done with glue – see it as a model kit :)

Please take a look at the pictures to see the exact positions of each part.

Filaments used

Grey = Solayin PLA Grey

Dark Grey = Jayo PLA Grey Matte

Black = Sunlu PLA+ Black

Gold = Eryone PLA Gold

Red  = Sunlu PLA+ Red

White = Sunlu PLA+ White

(be aware, the Solayin Grey is pretty briddle, im only using it because it has the right color. Also layer athesion is not the best.)

I am happy about all current German Navy ships. Would it be an option to create a model without VLS

Thanks for the boost. For now, the F124 (and something older:) is next, but sure, that's not a problem and will come as at least an additional print profile

Very nice model - should perhaps be printed with a 0.2 nozzle to come smoother. I would be happy about a fleet service boat (clear - very special wish) ;)

Thank you and yes, that would naturally be better. For me, it's always a cost-benefit factor, as I have thin walls and don't want prints lasting over 16 hours if I want to sleep well :) Oste or one of the new ones under construction? I also have the F123 and F124 in the pipeline

OSTE, ALSTER and OKER will still be in service for a few more years (in addition to those "soon" to be delivered). So I wouldn't mind one of the "Ti**en" boats - ultimately, only the name and numbering differentiate them.
