Cloth covered press button 22mm

This is a model for creating cloth covered button 22mm in dia.

To make it you have to cut out the circle of the cloth using the inside of a template disk, next guide a thread close to the edge around the circle leaving long start and long tail. Then place the mushroom in a center of a cloth and pull the threads sideways, it will warp around the button. Next, tie up the threads as much as you can and place the covering disc on a leg of a mushroom, facing bumps into the cloth. Press the disk as far as you can deep on a leg, you can help with sewing spool. Cut the excess threads.

First print test sample, and adjust the size of pressing disk to fit your tolerances and material shrinkage. It should go hard on a leg.

If you need good surface, print it facing up standing on a leg with supports. Or you can print it facing down W/O supports but it will require sanding.
