It is perfect as a standalone decorative piece, part of a dry terrarium, or a unique prop for board games. It looks especially stunning when printed in Silk, Gradient, or Matte PLA to highlight the organic shadows.
Key Features
- Organic Design: Smooth, natural geometry that catches the light beautifully.
- Scalable: Looks great printed at 100%, 50%, or even 150% scale to create a "reef" effect (as shown in the photos).
- Color Versatility: Vibrant colors like Coral Orange, Deep Blue, or Seaweed Green make it pop.
Printing Settings (Recommendations)
- Material: PLA (Matte or Silk recommended for best finish) or PETG.
- Nozzle: 0.4mm standard.
- Layer Height: 0.2mm (Standard) or 0.16mm (High Quality) for smoother curves.
- Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid pattern is best for organic shapes).
- Walls/Perimeters: 2 or 3 walls.
- Supports: [Note: Depending on your specific printer cooling, this might need minimal tree supports for the steeper overhangs. Please check your slicer preview. Tree supports are recommended if needed.]
- Brim: Recommended if you are printing it very small to ensure bed adhesion.
Color Ideas
