This 3D printable coral model features an organic, branching design that strikes a balance between natural aesthetics and modern minimalism. It is designed to be sturdy on its flat base while maintaining an elegant silhouette.
Key Features:
- Versatile Decor: Looks great as a standalone art piece, part of a "seascape" collection, or as a modern accent on a bookshelf.
- Functional Use: Perfect as a jewelry stand for hanging rings, earrings, and necklaces, or as a key holder in an entryway.
- Scalable: The design retains its detail whether you print it small (miniature) or scale it up to max out your build plate.
- Color Friendly: Prints beautifully in standard PLA, but looks especially stunning in Matte, Silk, or Gradient filaments.
Printing Recommendations:
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS.
- Layer Height: 0.20mm (Standard) or 0.16mm for smoother branches.
- Infill: 10-15% (Gyroid recommended for strength).
- Supports: The overhangs are designed to be printable on most well-tuned printers without supports. However, if you scale it up significantly, minimal Tree Supports are recommended for the steeper branches to ensure the best finish.
- Brim: Not usually required unless your bed adhesion is poor, as the base is flat and solid.
Pro Tip: Print multiple corals in different sizes and colors (like white, coral red, and teal) to create a vibrant reef composition!
