Description
Most 3d printed decorative trellises print on a single plate and are too short to provide a useful amount of height for all but the smallest plants.
This multi-part art deo plant trellis stands 39 cm tall, including 8.5 cm long stakes to provide a solid foundation for your medium sized plants to climb. (The plant pictured is a hoya carnosa.)
Dimensions
The total height of the assembled trellis is 388 mm. Width 195 mm. Thickness 6 mm.
The stakes on the narrow option are spaced 65 mm apart, to fit in a 4 inch plant pot. The wide option has stakes spaced 92 mm apart, and is more suitable for a larger pot.
Assembly
This requires cyanoacrylate superglue to assemble.
The two parts have interlocking grooves to make alignment easy. Just apply glue, join pieces by aligning the grooves, and clamp until the glue is cured.
Printing
I have printed this in PLA Basic. While not generally recommended for outdoor use due to UV and moisture, I've noticed no loss in quality in the six months or so I've been using this.
You could also print in PETG, however I have not tested this print profile with any filament other than PLA.
