NEST - PARROT BATH

I present this solution for the hygiene of these companion birds. It is well known that parrots generally enjoy showers and splashing in water, and that this is also important for their health. In fact, water bowls often have to be removed from them, because they get inside and start splashing around, making everything a mess.

In view of this, I have created this design, intended for a medium-sized parrot, such as African greys, Amazons, and similar birds, which can be placed in a corner of the cage and filled with water, to invite them to take a bath.

The design serves a second purpose, as a nest for incubating eggs, with many advantages:

  1. It allows the parrot to have a reference place to lay the egg.
  2. It allows the female to have a small bastion of defense, since, as we know, the male is often unaware of the value of that “little toy” someone has introduced into the cage, and ends up breaking it.
  3. It prevents the egg from rolling around the cage, reducing the risk of breakage, and getting stained due to droppings.
  4. The female spends a lot of time incubating and might end up plucking her feathers due to boredom, but in the nest, she can practice her destructive skills by destroying the edges (I can attest that she will).

And without further ado, I invite you to print it, and if you like the design, spend one of your boosts to thank me for the work.
