Description

This is a high-performance, compact solder fume extractor designed to keep your workspace clean and safe. It features a custom-fit housing for a standard 120mm PC fan and a replaceable active carbon filter layer. Perfect for electronics hobbyists, makers, and anyone who needs a reliable solution for filtering soldering fumes.

Bill of Materials (BOM) – What you need:

  • Fan: 1 x 120mm PC Fan (12V or 5V USB version recommended).
  • Filter: Active Carbon Filter sheet (cut to size: [Hier Maße eintragen, z.B. 120x120mm]).
  • Hardware: 4 x M4 Screws (for fan mounting).
  • Power: DC Jack or USB cable depending on your fan.

Print Settings (Druckeinstellungen)

  • Printer: Bambu Lab Series (P1P, P1S, X1C, A1)
  • Material: PLA, PETG or ABS (PETG recommended for higher durability near heat).
  • Infill: 15-20% (Gyroid recommended).
  • Supports: No supports needed (if designed correctly) / Tree supports for overhangs.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good balance between speed and quality.
  • Wall Loops: 3 for extra sturdiness.

Assembly Instructions (Montageanleitung)

  1. Insert the 120mm fan into the main housing.
  2. Place the pre-cut carbon filter into the designated slot/frame.
  3. Secure the fan with screws through the mounting holes.
  4. Connect your power source and start soldering safely!
