Description
I always liked these as a kid, and only until now did I have the abilities to design my own, 3D-printable version.
Flying Spin Copters
This classic toy, commonly called a spin copter, prints in less than 15 minutes and provides fun for all ages!
It is designed in 3 parts, the handle stick, the propeller, and the c-clip.
It can be used alone or with others, by passing it around and catching it midair.
There are two propellers available, one flies when it is spun counter clockwise (CCW, recommended for right-handed users) and the other flies when it is spun clockwise (CW, recommended for left-handed users).
Assembly is done by inserting the handle stick into the propeller with the notch lined up, after which the c-clip is clipped around the top part to secure everything in place. See model photos for reference.
Have fun!
