This vent has a raised entrance to connect an inline fan directly with a coupler. 4" version currently 40mm off the ground which matches many inline fans. 3" version 25mm off ground. Just ask if you need a custom height. 3" profiles added on request.

Multiple versions for different printer sizes!
250mm A1 & up. 320mm - H2 series & up. 335mm - H2S only.

If you're looking for a good 4" inline fan, here's the one I got that is easy to seal (not an affiliate link). I used indoor  silicon sealant top close the 2 small holes in the fan: https://a.co/d/0dSsTTd6
I like this fan because it's metal, easy to seal, low wattage, and analog control. It's only 18w at full power, and has an analog dial control so you can easily adjust to balance negative pressure in your 3D printer. I'm not affiliated, it's just the best inline fan I found for this purpose after research.

The 4" opening is 98mm or 3.85" to accommodate a coupler.

The 3" opening is 74mm or 2.91" to accomodate a coupler

IMPORTANT USE NOTE- PLEASE READ:
Some smaller versions restrict airflow which can reduce CFM (cubic feet/minute). The design is optimized to redirect air, so it can still be effective, just keep in mind to adjust settings to make sure you're still getting negative pressure in your printer. I've been told large reductions in size may affect the lifespan of some fans.

More airflow is always better so please use the largest size your door will accommodate.

The optimal sizes that shouldn't significantly reduce airflow from entrance to exit are:

  • 4" 335mm - 20 mm clearance
  • 4" 320mm - 25 mm clearance
  • 4" 250mm - 30 mm clearance
  • 3" 250mm - 20mm clearance
