If you like this model I would appreciate a boost :)

I didn't find a case matching my requirements, so i designed yet another case for this module.

This was a small project that had to be finished within one day including printing. It nearly worked, except for the USB board working as smoke machine. As i had no spare board I could not finish the project. Later I finished it but have no use nor test equipment here at the moment, so i could not actually test it properly. -> I can not verify the USB output works as expected. Test yourself!

Input voltage: 6-36V
Output voltage: 0-32V (32V is the maximum of the PD board)

Parts required

  • 1 DC8-32V without barrel jack
  • 1 SK120
  • 1 XT60E-M including 2 screws to mount the socket
  • 4mm Banana Terminals
  • 6 short m3 countersunk screws
  • 4 m1.6 screws (~4mm) - for mounting the usb board
  • 4 wire end sleeves
  • 1 XT60H-F for the power in cable.

Assembly

I printed the parts with PETG. For the back part (and the small front part) a more sturdy material might be a good choice.

after crimping i did short the wire end sleeve a little bit. They were longer than required to ensure a proper fit in the sk120 connector. Without shorting them the case is likely too small to properly fit the wires.
