Banshee ShearCore is the next iteration of my original Banshee Whistle

“The original Banshee earned its reputation for raw, unpredictable power — a whistle that could unleash a second‑stage blast if you had the lungs to push it. But not everyone could reach that threshold, and the community wanted a version that kept the spirit of the Banshee while making its full potential accessible.”

The Banshee ShearCore is that evolution.

By inverting the internal core and redirecting airflow through a newly engineered central channel, the ShearCore introduces a secondary shear path that that converge at the aperture and accelerates the incoming air. 

The result is a whistle that:

• enters second stage faster
• requires less air to trigger
• delivers a cleaner, more stable blast
• maintains the iconic 360° open aperture
• feels better in the hand with a refined ergonomic profile
• extended throat length feels better when blown with more control.
• adds a practical lanyard hook for everyday carry

The Main body has been redesigned to be more ergonomic, easier to hold.

• To achieve the 2nd stage, this whistle still needs a quick or hard blow to engage, but it is much easier than the original!
