This adapter is designed specifically for the Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS and uses the original lens hood bayonet interface instead of fragile filter threads.

Most solar adapters rely on fine M52×0.75 threads.
This design takes a different approach:

✔ No stress on filter threads
✔ More stable under handling

The internal structure is built to accept an existing 130 mm Newtonian front solar filter, eliminating the need to purchase additional solar film.

🔒 Secure Retention System

The solar filter is mechanically secured inside the adapter body by four integrated snap tabs, minimizing the risk of accidental displacement during use.

🧩 Design Origin

The hood bayonet interface is based on the ALC-SH115 hood geometry originally published on Printables.
Special thanks to the original designer for providing the reference locking structure.

This model implements a fully redesigned front housing and filter retention system.
