Since the theme for carnival this year was 'Pirates', I thought long and hard about everything I would need for a good pirate costume. A proper pirate hook, of course, couldn't be missing. However, I realized that I also needed a bottle opener, and a normal one was too boring for me. So, I came up with the brilliant idea of combining a pirate hook with a bottle opener. The design is kept very simple but is functional and stable; I still think it looks very chic. I would recommend attaching a white cloth with hot glue to the end of the black hand cover to create a smooth transition from a normal arm to the hand cover. The hook is very robustly constructed. I would recommend printing the nut and threaded rod from ABS (80% infill, 5-8 walls) and the hook from PETG or PLA (min. 50% infill, 5-8 walls). Also, make sure not to open the beer with just one corner of the bottle opener, but to ensure that the entire surface is used; then nothing is guaranteed to break, I can assure you of this from extensive and demanding testing :)

PS: Unfortunately, I didn't have a better picture because the hand was stolen from me after one day ;)
