Description
This project presents a robust outdoor enclosure for the popular LSC Smart Connect indoor Wi-Fi camera (model 3215672). The main goal was to create functional protection that allows the camera to operate outdoors while maintaining all its functions.
Technical specifications and features:
- Weather protection: The overlapping design (shade) protects the lens from rain and direct sunlight.
- Modular system: The enclosure is compatible with standard "GoPro" type mounts, allowing for wide variability in positioning and mounting.
- Cable management: The rear cover includes a pass-through for the micro-USB power cable.
- Easy assembly: Parts are designed for printing without the need for complex supports and are joined by simple mechanical locks or small screws (depending on the chosen configuration).
Printing recommendations: Given its outdoor use, I recommend choosing UV-resistant and high-temperature-resistant materials such as ASA or PETG for printing. Using PLA is not suitable for long-term outdoor deployment due to its low heat resistance and degradation in sunlight.
