Description
Bring a natural and organic look to your aquascape, terrarium, or paludarium with this highly detailed twisted driftwood root structure.
Inspired by weathered driftwood and exposed tree roots found in nature, this model features flowing curves, realistic wood texture, and an open composition that creates a striking focal point without overwhelming the layout. The design works particularly well in Nature Style, Jungle Style, and fantasy-inspired setups.
If intended for aquarium use, it must be printed with at least 75% infill to reduce buoyancy. The exact infill % required may vary depending on the material used (e.g., PLA, PETG, ABS). Optionally, to keep the model submerged, you can attach external weight (e.g., glue a stone to the base), secure it to the aquarium with adhesive, or create a small hole to allow water in and eliminate trapped air.
You can resize the model to your own preferences.
Used print options:
- 0.16mm layer height (100 mm) or 0.2 mm layer height (150 mm and 200 mm)
- 2 walls
- 10% Adaptive Cubic infill
- Special Tree Support setting for 0.16mm and 0.2 layer heights to give flawless supports
