Description

Sea trout lure with added dropshot weight.

The paus is already there if you print from bambu handy app or Bambu studio. If you are using anything else im not sure..(new to 3d printing)

for the 7gram weight pause the print at 376.. dropshotweight size 6*6*26,30mm

for the 10gram weightpause the print at 325.. dropshotweight size 6,50*6,50*30mm

this is a minor update from my previous model.

the eyes have a flat surface for easier glueing eyes.

i printed mine with 1,3mm hole for the line, and that works great for me. but i added a profile with 1,6mm if you find the hole to think for your line.

not all printers have the same tolerance. and shrinking could also affect.

the pla silk profile just slows down outer walls to 30mm/s for a glossier look

Not sure of why i added the stl file as well.

but if u use it. 100% infill, add a negative cylinder, size of your choice, slice it and make sure your cylinder fits inside the lure.

Weights I use from temu.

the print went well! the pause to insert the weight also worked well. I only had to shorten my lead a bit. however, I couldn't pull the string through at the end. it might have slipped a little when inserting the lead. maybe you can insert a kind of funnel on both sides of the cut to compensate for inaccuracies. I will try it out soon (I'm still quite new). I like the surface of the standing print better than the lying one

I had one lure out of almost 20-25 where i couldnt insert my line all the way. could be if the lure has moved slightly when insterting the dropshot weight. or it could be that the printer has to be really fine tuned. if you want i can make that hole 0,2-0,3 mm larger and upload as a second profile. its 1,3mm at the moment, then when printing i guess it shrink a bit, and not all printers are the same use a plier just above the weight and crack the lure if u want to use it for the next time.

A bit of both 😁 Would love to see how it swims, especially how it falls on a stop. About the dropshot weight, is it lead? My local stores only sell zinc dropshots :/

Everything went well! The surface is good, except for a few small spots from the supports. but that doesn't bother me or the fish. Thanks for the adjustment!
