Description

This is an anti-sleep cap that attaches to the Apple Vision Pro prescription inserts.

I made it to prevent Apple Vision Pro from going to sleep when you take it off during development or live demos.

It works by covering a portion of the lens area to keep the headset awake.

The 3D model is based on a high-accuracy scan of ZEISS prescription inserts captured with MAF THREE, and it’s designed to fit the inserts snugly with minimal gaps.

Note: Depending on your printer/material settings and tolerances, the fit may end up too tight or too loose. Please adjust as needed (e.g., slight scaling).

I printed it in white and black PLA at 0.1 mm layer height.

Important: With darker colors (e.g., black), the anti-sleep effect may not work. If you want to use a dark print, paint the inside white or use another method to brighten the covered area.

A “no-hole” version is also included, which you can use as a lens protection cap.

Feel free to remix (and clean up) this model, but please do not sell it.
