Description
This project is an expanded and improved version of my original F1 keycap design.
This set includes Cherry MX profile keycaps for:
- F1
- F2
- F3
- F4
Each keycap features a flat Formula inspired logo integrated into the top surface without embossing or debossing, resulting in a clean and smooth finish.
This updated version reduces the number of color change layers, improving print efficiency and reducing material waste while maintaining visual quality.
Designed for standard MX-style mechanical keyboard switches.
Original single F1 keycap project also available on my profile.
Print Settings (Tested)
Hardware
- Printer: Bambu Lab A1 Combo
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Build Plate: Textured PEI Plate
- Multi-material: Bambu Lab AMS Lite
Print Profile
- Layer Height: 0.1 mm
- Walls: 4
- Top Layers: 7
- Bottom Layers: 5
- Top Surface Density: 100%
- Infill: 15% Grid
- Supports: Not required
Materials
- White: Elegoo Matte White PLA
- Red: Bambu PLA Basic Red
Printing Notes
- Print upside down (top surface on the build plate).
- No supports required.
- AMS Lite recommended for clean color separation.
- Textured plate will create the visible surface finish.
