Description

This jig was made for use with the proxxon thermocut wirecutter, but will work with any cutter as long as it fits. I guess you could even use it on a small tablesaw for angled cuts but have not tried that myself.

Note I did attach hardwood strips on both sides for strength!

You really need to do this to prevent unwanted flexing. I made the print as light as possible hence dependent on the reinforcement of the wood.

Roughen up the printed surface with coarse sandpaper and then glue the wood strips to it with woodglue.

I used 2 M5 machinescrews and nuts. The nut-holders are from this maker: https://makerworld.com/en/models/791858-m3-m10-nuts-knurled-wing-star#profileId-730398 So if you want them you'll have to get those from the OC as I have not included that in my design.

This is excellent! Thank you for linking the screw nuts as well.

We've got a saying in The Netherlands: "Ere wie ere toekomt" = Honor those who've deserved the honor. I hope you enjoy the print.

where did you get that auxiliary fence that’s in the picture on the left of the machine?

Built it myself! there's an 8x8mm bar as a slider, the rest are MDF panels.
