Printing

Recommend PETG-CF or PET-CF (or maybe a GF filament). Tried EasyPA but it's slippery... Shim head has a relief to prevent cracking/layer separation. Can be printed vertically with no issue, as the forces clamping it are in XY anyway.

It 100% works - perfect fit for my son's mountain bike. However the PA material required additional torque on the seatpost clamp to stop it from slipping. I used the shim to adapt a Spawn Brood Yama Jama Pivotal seatpost to a Rocky Mountain Reaper Mtb.

For Easy PA: 270C Nozz, 50C bed, iron top surfaces, 100% infill 0.6 nozzle with 0.18-0.30 layer height (your choice)

Personally, printing again, I'd go with a CF filament and possibly fuzzy skin for extra friction/grip when clamping down the post. I'd also add friction paste like finish line fiber grip.
