Usage and cautionary notes:
o When bike commuting, I use the GTCH with my to-go cup, the lid is on, and it seals well. The to-go cup was selected to fit so the cup goes in most of the way and the lid is just above the top, it is stable, some taper to-go cups especially the thicker insulated ones are not stable.
o However even with a stable and good fitting cup, I put my finger on top the cup when going over bumps to minimize the movement and keep in place as bumps or jumps may cause your beverage to bounce out.
o Some movements may cause yoke to rotate around then beverage may fall out. One may put an elastic band around yoke and anchor to clamp, which can limit rotation and still allow to self balance. Also one may put an elastic band over the beverage cup and around the yoke to help secure it, ...but then it's not so quick as to get a sip and go whilst stopped at a traffic light imho.
o Depending on weight of cup and beverage the GTCH may rotate down on the bar with large bumps or other forces to help avoid overload conditions.
o Over tightening clamp may cause failure.
o Keep fingers etc. out of area in front of center yoke attachment bolt to avoid pinch from cup holder bottom edge rotating by (not likely but it can bite).
o Use at your own risk.
o Not a toy.
Not intended for children.
Enjoy!
