Fixed Chair Feet/Stem Caster Replacement/Scalable

What it is

Replace annoying stem casters with solid, stable chair feet. These feet are designed for chairs that use push in stem casters. Pull the wheels out, press these feet in, use optional furniture felt pads and you are done.

What makes it special
The model is designed for easy customization in Bambu Studio. The stem section (named bottom) and the load bearing foot section (named top) can be scaled separately in X, Y, and Z, so you can match your chair’s stem size and set your preferred height and footprint. You can also scale the complete part as one piece.

Dimensions
Default size is approximately, foot outer size about 30 mm, overall height about 58 mm, stem section about 13 mm diameter and 32 mm long. Your chair may vary, scaling is expected.

Compatibility
Chairs that use stem type casters, push in style. Many office and dining chairs use a similar stem standard, but results can vary, always measure and test fit first.

How to customize in Bambu Studio

Stem section (top object)
Scale X and Y to match your measured stem diameter, scale Z to adjust insertion length.

Foot section (bottom object)
Scale X and Y to change footprint and stability, scale Z to change height.

Uniform scaling
Select both parts and scale together if you want to keep the overall proportions.

Print settings (recommended)

Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Walls: 5
Top layers: 5
Bottom layers: 5
Infill: 35%
Infill pattern: Honeycomb

Recommended materials

PETG or ASA for long term durability and load resistance.

Notes & Safety

This is a load bearing part. Print one foot first to confirm a snug press fit and stable contact, then print the full set and test it carefully. 

Keep the bottom clean, dirt or sand can scratch floors regardless of material. If you want extra floor protection or grip, add felt pads or rubber pads.
