X-Shot Excel Ejector Extended Stock

Hello everyone! This is a 3D printed replacement stock designed to work with the X-Shot Excel Ejector Shell Blaster.  I've been having tons of fun with this blaster, but the stock was a bit too short for my liking.  So, I set out to design a stock that had similar stylings, fit the scale of the rest of the blaster well, and was a couple inches longer, and here are the results!

The printed replacement stock is roughly 3.5 inches longer than the original stock, and it can be assembled using the eight toy screws that the original stock uses to attach to the blaster. There are two version of the body sides, with one set having cutouts for the shell holder that comes with the blaster, and the other set with blank sides.  Both sets will require support material in the grip area where the stock attaches to the blaster. The Butt Plate piece will also require support material, but the optional Cheek Rest piece should not require support material. 

I've included the STEP and F3D files for people to make whatever edits they would like, but I would not recommend using the STEP file included to bring into your slicer of choice. There's a geometry issue I was unable to fix in the grip area that makes the part look faceted and incorrect when uploaded into a slicer.  The STL files for the parts exported perfectly, however, so those are the files I recommend you print. 

A quick note for when you are removing the original stock: in addition to the screws, there are plastic clips that hold the grip to the body of the blaster. I thought it would be easy to remove the grip while keeping the rest of the blaster assembled. but that was not the case. I was able to do it, but it was quite annoying and led to me damaging the original stock.  So, I would recommend fully taking the blaster apart when replacing the grips. That will give you better access to the plastic clips that need to be addressed. 

I'm really enjoying using this blaster with a longer stock, and I hope everyone else does as well!
