Relic from a forgotten era (Relic of the Green Eye) World Magic Design contest

Was it a power source?
A seal?
Or a vessel for something that should never have awakened?

This mystical artifact seems to originate from the ruins of an ancient civilization.
The interior, a glowing emerald core, pulsates in mysterious green, as if ancient magic still resides within. The broken shell bears signs and symbols of a long-lost culture.

This model was designed for the Old World Magic Design Contest and combines ancient runic aesthetics with modern lighting technology.

💡 Lighting

The Bambu Lab 001 LED Kit was used, making the inner core glow evenly and intensely.

🛠️ Assembly

  1. First, assemble the stand and egg.
  2. Then, carefully place the outer casing over it.
  3. Everything is precisely aligned with the provided connectors.

🔧 Note:
I recommend fixing the egg to the stand with a small drop of superglue.
It also works without glue, but the egg can easily tip over if moved.

Printed with:

  • PLA (Casing & Structure)
  • PLA Silk
  • PLA Transparent (inner emerald core for optimal light diffusion)

The combination of matte PLA, shimmering PLA Silk, and translucent PLA creates a strong contrast between the broken shell and the glowing core.
The transparent PLA ensures that the light from the Bambu 001 LED Kit is evenly diffused, making the core appear like a living energy source.
