Adapter Plate for Mounting a Heiman Smoke Detector (HS1SA‑M)
I designed this adapter plate to mount a HS1SA‑M smoke detector using the existing mounting points of my previous smoke detector, the Merten ARGUS Basic. This allows me to avoid filling the old drill holes and having to sand and repaint the ceiling.
The adapter plate is designed so that the new smoke detector is properly aligned and appears visually clean and straight
