Description
Level up your street interviews and reporting with this ultra-lightweight, customizable mic flag designed specifically for the Rode Interview GO handle.
This isn't just a static block; it features a modular magnetic system. You can print multiple logo plates and swap them out instantly depending on who you are interviewing or which brand you are representing.
Key Features:
- Interchangeable Plates: Use 8x2mm magnets (standard size) to snap logo plates on and off.
- Customizable: The face plates are blank canvases. Simply add your text or import your logo (SVG) directly in your slicer before printing.
- Secure Fit: Features a rear tension screw design to lock firmly onto the mic handle—no wobbling during interviews.
Printing Guidelines (The "Pro" Recipe):
I designed this to be invisible to the camera and feather-light for the operator.
- Material: Matte PLA is highly recommended. It absorbs light and prevents ugly reflections/glare on camera.
- Infill: 5% (Gyroid or Lightning). This is crucial! It keeps the weight down to a minimum so it doesn't make the mic top-heavy.
- Walls: 2 walls are sufficient.
Assembly & BOM:
- Magnets (Optional): Designed for standard 8x2mm round magnets. Superglue them into the slots on the body and the plates. Watch the polarity!
- Static Version: If you don't want to use magnets, simply superglue your customized plates directly to the body.
How to Customize:
- Download the STL files.
- Open the "Front Plate" in your Slicer.
- Use the "Text" tool or "Import SVG" to emboss your logo or name.
- Slice and print!
Happy Printing! Post your makes and show off your branding!
