Overview

Here is a protective case for the OnePlus 13 designed by me, whose main objective is to allow the phone's back to breathe in case of significant heat by leaving an air gap and side vents.
In addition to allowing the phone to dissipate heat more effectively than a traditional case, a specific slot is provided for installing a 40mm fan using 4 slots for small 5mm x 2mm magnets.

Must be printed in TPU.

Details

The case is deliberately narrower than the phone on the screen side, which takes advantage of the elasticity of the TPU filament to ensure a firm grip of the phone by the case.
All buttons are perfectly accessible, and the case does not block any phone ports except for the SIM card slot.
The camera module is fully protected and to be printed separately, which allows for a perfectly smooth print on the entire back of the case.
A small notch prevents the camera module protection from rotating on its own within the main case.
Simple fans consume very little power, about 100 mAh, and can therefore be powered directly by the phone.

Tips

The TPU profile is particularly slow to minimize the need for supports.
I strongly recommend printing the camera module protection in a perfectly opaque filament to prevent the phone's flash from staining your photos with an undesirable glow (I experienced this with my translucent pink filament, which is why I opted for opaque black on this part).
Keep layers at 0.16mm; if you switch to 0.2mm or higher, you will have unsupported strands.
Choose the quietest fan possible, preferably those that run at 3000 RPM if possible.

Required Parts

* TPU filament
* For the fan:
** One 40mm 2-wire fan
** 4 magnets 5mm x 2mm (to be inserted into the case)
** 4 magnets 4mm x 1.5mm (to be inserted or glued onto the fan)
** One USB-A cable (to be soldered to the fan's 2 wires)
** One USB-C to USB-A OTG adapter

The project was made with FreeCAD 1.0.2. Everything is available as an attachment. Please note, object and variable names are in French :)

Happy 3D printing everyone.
