Description

Works with ifixit or anything that has a metall back with a maximum height of 180mm.

Mounts in the ikea skadis pegboard and has press fit magnets (6x6mm). No supports needed when printing.

If downloaded just remember to mirror one of the piceses so it is symetrical.

There is also a no magnet version but it is very prone to falling of so i recommend to glue the kit to the brackets.

Nice idea but my ifixit box is plastic with 4 magnets in the corners which don't line up with the magnets in this design.

i see, didnt think there would be different iterations of the ifixit kit. My bad. Maybe use magnetic tape on the ifixit kit?

Just bought my ifixit kit today and my magnet pattern in the same as yours. might still try to print this and modify it.

I haven't printed mine yet but I recommend adding a negative cylinder as a new hole placement for your magnet. Sorta hard to figure out the size since I haven't also bought myself those measurement tools that most 3d printers are using. (I'm still new to 3d printing :] )

Great holder. Exactly what I needed. Now I just need something for the tools next to the kit. Also the hexagonal sides do look great, but also increase print time and materials. But they do look really cool. Thanks for the cool model!

Came out slowly but was worth the wait. I didn't have 6x6 magnets so I used 2 6x3 magnets in each hole. They are firmly held, and I don't see them coming out for a while.

I would appreciate an option for the 'old' set with the magnets in the corners - I'd gladly provide mine for the dimensions if needed

Not a good model - with so small holes the magnets are too weak to hold ifixit set reliably. Support ledges should also be bigger. Really dissapointed in the design.
