Description

ENGLISH

Stand for supporting the oboe vertically, it has two small cylinders so both pieces can be stored as a thicker one. There is a small offset of 0.1mm in the cylinder so that they don't stick together too tightly. Only printed once in PLA, I cannot guarantee it will work correctly with other materials.

made this in a set of instrument stands. I especially like the click-together feature when it’s packed down.

Hello! Would it be possible to design one for English horn and another for trumpet? I haven't been able to find them anywhere, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks for the valoration, It really helps me a lot. I'm trying to start in 3D modeling and soon I will post my second model, the problem is that everything is already invented.

My daughter plays oboe, and loves it. 3 other oboe players in her band asked for one as well. The only issue I had was the pegs are sometimes too tight. One broke off. I used a file on the pegs to make them slightly looser fitting.

You mean the cylinders to keep both pieces together? I know they fit a little to tight. If you printed it with PETG it should be all okey ( in theory). I printed it only once in PLA and I had the same problem, I remember changing the offsets but not sure if it is the same STL as the on I uploaded. Even so, when using it multiple times it starts to fit better. 🤗

The modeling is beautiful, but the edges are sharp and scrape the inside of the bell. I would like a design that does not scrape wood with the edges. I printed it with PETG Translucent, and the strength is more than satisfactory. Is it because it's PETG that it scrapes with the edges...?

I use this every day when I practice and my oboe never scratched or fell
