Description

Description

Celebrate birthdays with a simple print that’s fun to look at! This desk sign features a cutout designed to hold a standard test tube in place of the letter "I" in "SENIOR."  It’s the perfect centerpiece for a senior, a teacher’s gift, or a fun way to hold treats for the graduate.

Hardware Requirements

The slot in the 3D model is designed for 45ml (25mm Diameter x 140mm Length). These are easily found on Amazon.  I purchased these on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J5YTZXJ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1 (or something similar as long as you have the same dimensions).

File includes facedown inserts:

  • 2026 Year
  • 2027 Year
  • Grad Cap
  • Class Of

Additional attachments can be made at your discretion. Single pegs are added which can be attached separately.

Note: To make your own facedown attachments:

  1. Make the thickness of design at least 6.35mm (.25").
  2. Center peg on back of the design.
  3. If modifying in Bambu, set peg at 6.35mm (.25") or whatever  the height is of your design.

Note: To make your own raised attachments:

  1. Make the thickness of your design at least 6.35mm (.25").
  2. Make a hole 7.874mm (.31") x 3.175mm (.125") deep at the center of the design.
  3. Glue and insert peg into the hole (try not to squeeze the tips to avoid breaking).

Color Swaps: If you don't have an AMS, you can achieve the "SENIOR" color look by performing a manual filament change at layer [151] where the senior text layer begins OR I have provided an option to print the “SENIOR” and insert letters that can be printed separately.

Scaling: Not recommended!  Scaling will make the "I" slot too small or too big for the test tube to fit.

Alternative Uses (No Candy)

If you don't want to use candy, this model also works great for:

  • Flower Vase: Use a plastic tube and a single short-stemmed flower or sprig of greenery.
  • Glitter/Confetti: Fill with festive birthday confetti for a non-food option.
  • Money Gift: Roll up a few bills and slide them inside the tube for a creative way to give cash!
