Description

Give your handmade plushies the perfect finishing touch with these snap-fit eyes! Designed for easy installation, these eyes securely lock into place using a simple press-fit backing with no glue required. I used PLA for both the eyes and backs.

These eyes are ideal for crochet, sewing, and plush projects. The included backings are designed to grip fabric tightly, helping the eyes stay securely in place during use.

The posts are larger than normal which are perfect for chunky yarn. The eyes are modeled on cows (Hairy and Cowy - named by my children) who were made with size 6 yarn weight and a 7mm hook.

The backings of these eyes are small and could cause choking. Do not allow children under 3 to play with them and it is not recommend to use on stuffies that will be gifted to children under 3. While all of my prints have shown to be very secure, I cannot guarantee perfect fitment across all printers and settings!

This model is shared under a CC BY license, meaning you're free to use, modify, and even sell prints - as long as credit is given. If you enjoy this design, I'd really appreciate a boost or a like to help support future models! And above all - Post Pictures! I'd love to see what plushies you make!

Other Issues: noticed early on in the print that there were some weird stringing pieces that were happening that eventually got covered up and everything seemed fine. Then at the very end one of the eyes was completely messed up as shown in the photo. The other eye seemed OK but still had some weird string pieces on it.

I know, we were disappointed, I really can't figure out what would have caused it. Using a P2S, Bambu PLA basic filament. I can always try again, the only issue is all the color changes towards the end do make quite a bit of waste.
