Chemical Anchor Sleeve Ø16 for Ø10-14 Insert
Print Profile(1)

Description
Chemical anchor mesh sleeve designed for resin fixings in hollow bricks.
0.2mm Nozzle needed. No supports required. PETG is the optimal material for this, for the slight flexibility, good toughness and enough chemical resistance. TPU would be too flexible, PLA would be too brittle. The printing speed is set quite low to improve mechanical resistance. Feel free to play with it at your own risk.
Optimized for Ø16 mm drilled holes and up to Ø14 mm metal inserts (10-14mm). The sleeve is 87mm long, so you will need a hole that deep. The usable length inside it is aproximately 86mm, which fits the recomended 85mm threaded anchor sleeves snuggly with a slight resine buffer at the end. The vertical slot design allows proper resin flow into the internal cavities of hollow bricks, ensuring correct bulb formation and stable anchoring.
As shown in the pictures, apart from the classical method of directly inserting threaded bars/studs into the resin-filled plastic sleeve, this plastic sleeve allows you to insert metallic internally threaded anchor sleeves, such as this one:
