Description
Ken Masters is a core protagonist of Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise and one of the most recognizable figures in fighting games. Debuting in the original Street Fighter, Ken is an American martial artist known for his fiery personality, confident swagger, and relentless drive to prove himself.
Trained in the Ansatsuken style under the legendary master Gouken, Ken shares both a deep bond and an enduring rivalry with his best friend, Ryu. While Ryu embodies discipline and inner balance, Ken represents passion and explosive intensity. This contrast defines much of his character—he fights not just for self-improvement, but with pride, emotion, and flair.
Ken’s signature moves include the blazing Shoryuken (Dragon Punch), Hadoken, and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku (Hurricane Kick). His Shoryuken is especially iconic, often engulfed in flames to reflect his aggressive, high-impact fighting style.
