𪲠Ankheg Miniature â Burrowing Acid Terror
This miniature is part of the Monster Manual 2024 Collection, a series of iconic creatures brought to life in detailed, tabletop-ready form.
Lurking beneath fields, forests, and lonely roads, the Ankheg is a subterranean predator that strikes without warning. Drawn to vibrations above, it bursts from the earth in a shower of dirt and stone, seizing prey in its crushing mandibles before dissolving armor and flesh alike with its corrosive acid.
The miniature depicts a massive Ankheg erupting from the ground mid-ambush. Its segmented, armored body rises from a crater of freshly displaced soil, creating a dynamic and immersive silhouette. Jagged chitin plates layer its back and head like natural siege armor, each ridge and spike emphasizing its brutal, insectoid design.
Its wide-open maw reveals curved, saber-like mandibles and smaller inner teeth, poised to snap shut on unfortunate prey.
