While the Eheim Compact filter performs well in terms of filtration efficiency, its one drawback is its inability to effectively remove surface oil film.

The original manufacturer does not offer related oil removal accessories. Therefore, this dedicated tool was created to help aquarists remove oil scum from the aquarium surface and maintain clear water quality.

Installation Steps

Step One: Print Accessories
Print at 100% speed and complete the accessories using Print by Object mode.

Step Two: Remove Supports
Due to printing limitations, there will be some columnar supports on the accessories. Please remove the supports as shown in the diagram below to ensure the accessories are perfectly round.

Step Three: Position the Skimming Water Pipe
Note the vertical skimming water pipe. The pipe has a ring and a small protruding mark. Please follow the arrows in the diagram below and ensure the mark faces the water outlet.

Step Four: Check Installation
Confirm if the installation is correct. The diagram below shows the correct installation method; please compare and check.

Step Five: Attach the Filter Outlet and Skimmer Float
Finally, attach the accessory to the filter outlet and connect the skimming float to complete the installation.
